Planning

This section outlines the key components of planning person-centered engagement strategies within a health care organization. This planning phase requires buy-in from organization-level leadership as well as recognition from those leaders of the need to create an environment that supports culture change and includes staff in engagement activities. Successful planning efforts also require the creation of a planning team with dedicated time for assessing the organization’s readiness for engagement and developing an engagement plan.
